About Us
Allison Dillard
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, EMDR Trained
Counseling to me is a calling. I consider my path to becoming a counselor one that was designed to teach me the reality of pain and empathy, so that I might sit with others facing hardships. My passion has continued to grow and thrive as I’ve worked with clients struggling with addiction, anxiety, co-dependency, trauma, spiritual issues, grief, and relationship issues. I specialize in anxiety and OCD, trauma, boundaries, and grief. Over the course of my career, I have worked in treatment centers and private practice treating those who’ve struggled with trauma and addiction as well as provided support groups and psycho-educational lectures to loved ones wanting to learn how to support those with addictions, unhealthy coping patterns, and unhealthy expressions of emotions.
Healing and change is a journey and a process filled with many unexpected turns. As we open ourselves up to processing pain and struggles, we are able to develop new perspective, compassion, and awareness. Moving forward requires us to acknowledge what we need so we can work with ourselves rather than against ourselves to achieve our goals. Increasing awareness of our emotions, our physical self, and what’s missing helps us to identify our coping strategy and how to move forward. Most pain leads us to disconnect from ourselves so one of our first steps is reconnecting.
Counseling is a difficult process to begin and takes courage and bravery to open oneself up to the growth process. We continue to repeat patterns, actions, and underlying belief systems until we embrace new ways of living that lead us to the life we want. I am passionate about helping people find freedom in healing past wounds, developing new and healthier ways of coping, and learning to see self accurately. I strive to cultivate a safe and open space for everyone I work with to engage in vulnerability and change. Each client’s unique experience, story, and need is met with a customized strategy to move forward and achieve the individual goals they have. I believe in helping clients develop practical coping skills, increased knowledge through educating self, and a plan for creating change in day-to-day life.

about Therapy
Allison is here to work with you and help you achieve your goals. Sessions are 50 minutes and frequency of appointments varies based on the need of the client. During these sessions, we’ll come up with a plan together for what you want to accomplish in treatment and how long you want it to take. Think of it like having a personal trainer or music coach. We’ll give you the tools and guidance you need to succeed, but it’s up to you to put in the practice between sessions for the best results. Let’s work together to make positive change!
Sessions are $150 per 50 minute session. This includes the time your therapist will use between session for assessment, consultation, research, and documentation.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your care at Connect will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of all services being requested at Connect.
- Once you initial appointment is made, a GFE will be made available in your client portal for you to sign.
- At any time, you can also ask for a GFE before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you can dispute the bill.
- For questions or more information about your right to a GFE, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

It’s hard to say how many sessions you’ll need because every person is unique and everyone’s experience is different. Some people find relief after just a couple of sessions, while others who are looking for deeper change may choose to come for longer. However, don’t let the number of sessions stress you out, let’s take it one session at a time and see how it goes. Our goal is to help you feel better and create long-term change together.
